Michael O. Scheinberg graduated from Oregon State University with Bachelor Degrees in Engineering Physics and Industrial Engineering. While working as a Process Engineer for Wacker Siltronic Corporation, Michael took graduate classes in Materials Science at Oregon Graduate Center. Later, while still working as a Process Engineer, he attended evening classes at Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College, where he graduated summa cum laude.
Since graduation, Michael has worked in intellectual property law, advising clients, obtaining hundreds of US and foreign patents for clients, registering trademarks, writing infringement opinions, challenging and defending patents in reexamination proceedings, and advising regarding licensing and litigation. Michael is a member of the State Bars of Texas and Oregon. Michael is also licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Having worked in large law firms, Michael prefers a small firm in which client service is more important than billable hours.
Michael enjoys getting around town on two wheels, with or without a motor, traveling, and other outdoor recreational activities.
