John Kelly is a registered patent attorney who, since 2003, has assisted clients in obtaining patents and trademarks. John’s expertise pertains to electrical and mechanical arts: electron microscopy, ion beam systems, semiconductor fabrication, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and nanofabrication, flat panel display technology, integrated circuit design, microprocessor architecture and computer software applications. Prior to practicing law, John worked as a design engineer in the wireless telecommunications industry.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Baylor University, in addition to a Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law. John is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is registered to practice before the United Stated Patent and Trademark Office. Outside of the office, John also enjoys spending free time outdoors with his wife and two boys, swimming, coaching soccer and hiking and camping in the Texas Hill Country.
